We visited Osaka at night and experienced a mysterious wonderland in the middle of Japan

If you want to invest your hard earned money in a vacation or longer stay in Japan, you naturally want to see Tokyo, the Japanese capital, the most brightly lit metropolis among the metropolises. But there is also a lot to discover beyond the radiant Sky Tree. Osaka for example, the city in the heart of the western Japanese region of Kinki.

Osaka is the traditional trade center of Japan and today one of the most important industrial centers and one of the most important ports in the country. The old city center of Osaka around Shinsaibashi is in the south, the northern center has more business character. Osaka is also known as “the kitchen of Japan” and for its comedic entertainment art called Manzai.

In the evening, when the sun is gone and the colorful lights shine over the metropolis, Osaka is particularly beautiful, exciting and stylish. Stroll through the lively shopping streets, have fun in one of the numerous amusement arcades or find small cafes and food stalls to quench your thirst and hunger. Osaka is as magical as the country in which the city is located.
