British artist Alexandra Tunnard just turned 18 years old. And even in this early period of life, you can see quite clearly who is blessed with talent - and who isn't. While older and much worse artists try hard to cover up their non-existing talent with illegally acquired Photoshop filters and overpriced workshops, Alexandra can show off her skills with ease and without using any of that crap.
Alexandra lives in Torbay, an idyllic harbor city in south west England. Because of the mild climate, palm trees are a common sight along the coast. It's nice there if you want to live a quiet life. Famous former residents of Torbay include authors Agatha Christie, who set many of her novels in a thinly disguised version of the borough, Charles Kingsley, Edmund Gosse, Peter Cook, Lily Cole, Jim Davidson, and Rudyard Kipling.
Whether it's digital or analog, you can tell Alexandra Tunnard is positively influenced by her surroundings and that honest, direct shots come easily to her. Alexandra's photos are as raw and intimate as it gets and you can feel the friendly connection between her and the people who land in front of the camera. It's all fun, and love, and peace, and stuff - and we love it.
