I prefer my MacBook over everything else. Over my phone. Over my TV. Over my PlayStation. And I want and need the fastest, slickest, most beautiful always updated operating system on it. That’s why I installed the public beta of macOS Sierra a few weeks ago, and while I don’t really use Siri or most of the other fancy stuff and concentrate on the basics, I love it.
“macOS Sierra is a major update that makes your Mac smarter and more helpful than ever with improvements to the apps you know and love and great new features throughout,” said Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering. “With macOS Sierra, you can get information, find files and multitask using Siri, access your Desktop and Documents from anywhere, copy and paste between Macs and iOS devices, and rediscover precious memories in Photos.”
The operating system will be available as a free update on September 20th. Just head over to the App Store and click on “Download,” there you go. Apple revolutionized personal technology with the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984. And macOS Sierra surely is one step further to stay the best operating system on this planet. Better than Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS. Period.
