Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God! Living Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto just appeared on stage at Apple’s iPhone 7 event to announce the introduction of Super Mario to the iPhone and the iPad. It’s a game called ‘Super Mario Run‘ and it’s Nintendo’s first real game that doesn’t run on one of its console platforms like Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo Wii U.
Of course, Nintendo brings even more games to mobile platforms, especially after the sucess of “Pokémon Go”, the addictive game where small kids and adult men collect cute little monsters around the world. Like on mountains. And in woods. And in some McDonald’s stores. Wherever. So, now it’s Super Mario’s turn to take over the mobile world.
‘Super Mario Run‘ appears to be a ‘Temple Run’-style platform game where Mario runs on his own and the only thing yoiu have to do is to keep running. It will be released later this year, before christmas, promise. So, maybe it’s now the right time to ask Nintendo for your favorite games to be transferred to the iPhone. Like ‘The Legend of Zelda.’ Or ‘Super Metroid.’ Or ‘Kirby.’ Love it!
