There’s A Really Cool World Of Warcraft Legion Wall Painting In Melbourne

Of course, every one of us played “World of Warcraft” a couple of years ago. Wandering through digital worlds, woods, and castles, searching for the next quest, the next sword, the next wonder, trying to get the best gear possible, destroying members of the other fraction, becoming a real hero, known to every other player out there. “World of Warcraft” is freedom.

The new expansion of the game called “Legion” brings this unique feeling back. After the defeat of Archimonde at Hellfire Citadel on the alternate timeline world of Draenor, Gul’dan is pushed through a portal to Azeroth of the main timeline in order to open a way for the Burning Legion to invade in far greater numbers than in the War of the Ancients thousands of years earlier.

While exploring the hidden vaults of the Broken Isles, Gul’dan finds a dark crystalline prison containing the corpse of Illidan Stormrage, the self-proclaimed Lord of Outland, who was slain during the events of The Burning Crusade. The Archmage Khadgar, who helped lead the Alliance and Horde against Gul’dan and the Iron Horde on the alternate Draenor, witnesses the return of the Burning Legion and flies to the city of Stormwind to warn King Varian Wrynn of the coming invasion.

Melbourne celebrated the beginning of “World of Warcraft: Legion” with a very cool wall painting by Apparition Media. It glows at night and shows Illidan Stormrage, being angry as fuck. You can watch a video of the painting right here and play the most popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game out there right here. For the Horde!
