Yes, “Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4”, or more like “Persona 4 Golden” on the PlayStation Vita, is one of my favorite games of all times. Chie Satonaka was my tomboyish girlfriend, Yosuke Hanamura was the best buddy you could possibly have, and Rise Kujikawa was a cute idol with hellish issues. I still love them all – and every minute spent in Inaba is a great one.
The eagerly-awaited sequel “Persona 5” already has a release date and now a brand new trailer. The game is going to be released on September 15 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. While that date is confirmed for Japan, it’s not yet clear whether the release date also applies globally. Atlus also plans to release an animated series titled “Persona 5 The Animation: The Day Breakers” this September.
“Persona 5” surely will deliver the same mind fucked universe than its predecessor. Crazy characters with a lot of problems, an epic story about love, friendship and death, cute but also creepy mascots, huge monsters who want to destroy the world, and a gigantic adventure in Tokyo where every day counts. As soon as “Persona 5” arrives your life will be over. For a long, long time.
