It’s almost a week now that Rihanna‘s released her poky new music video called “Needed Me“, directed by “Kids”, “Gummo”, and “Spring Breakers” filmer Harmony Korine. And, yeah, you’re still not satisfied, you want to see more, now, you need a behind the scenes look, like, behind the scenes. Of that poky new music video. By Rihanna. Called “Needed Me“. Okay.
The good people over at VEVO released not only one behind the scenes video of Rihanna‘s “Needed Me” music video but two. Wow. You can see her standing half-naked by the windows, shooting something in the distance, smoking some shit by the water and hanging around with strippers. Like, I don’t know, that sounds like a totally normal day for Rihanna to me.
The song itself is taken from Rihanna‘s eighth studio album named “ANTI”, which was co-produced by big names like Jeff Bhasker, Boi-1da, DJ Mustard, Hit-Boy, Brian Kennedy, No I.D. and Timbaland. They incorporated dark, sparsely layered, minimalist song structures, while most of “ANTI”‘s lyrics dealt with the complexities of romantic love and self-assurance. Wow, so deep, so deep…
