We live in a crazy world. A couple of days ago I told you about a coding app called Atom, which is used by a million people right now and marketed like some kind of digital rockstar. And then there’s supermodel current Topshop face Karlie Kloss, who loves to code in her spare time according to her famous Instagram profile. But that’s not enough for her.
“Before my first coding class, the idea that I could build something with code seemed practically impossible”, she Karlie us. “Within a couple of classes, I was working with my classmates to program a small drone. I realized that code is about creativity, just like art and fashion, and that women who have these skills have the power to shape our future.”
Now Karlie wants to empower young women to explore coding by themselves. That’s why she’s launching a new coding camp for girls called Kode With Klossy. The summer camp is a free two-week program for girls 13-18 years old. Young women will learn to build real apps with code. And you can join, for free!
