The girls and guys over at Maison Kitsuné are going to release a new spring capsule called Reishiki, which is Japanese and means something like “bowing ceremony” in English. With their new sweatshirts, sweaters, T-shirts, swimming shorts, black belts, dresses, tote bags and baseball caps, Maison Kitsuné pays homage to its Japanese roots.
Chinese photographer and rebel Ren Hang, who we’ve already featured right here, immortalized the clean, minimalist designs that draw inspiration from the traditional garb worn by judokas, practitioners of the martial art of judo, within his photos for the enclosed lookbook. The majority of the styles feature black and white color combinations with pop graphic logos in touches of red and blue.
You can look for Maison Kitsuné’s Spring 2016 Reishiki capsule to become available in stores and online on April 4. And if you want to see more of Ren Hang, you should check out his very own website and portfolio, where he published photos, diary entries and poems as well as an essay about his depression and a visually stunning homage to his mom.
