It’s great to see so many young artists from around the world using the Internet to appear on the scene nowadays. Flickr is still one of the most famous platforms when it comes to photographers sharing their experiences with fans and other creative minds on the planet. Lately Asia’s new inspiring art elite became louder and louder lately – and that’s a pretty good sign.
Bravo Ko perpetuates the rebellious youth of Taiwan in her colourful photos, turning her friends into protagonists of a new era, formed by Asia’s free minds. On her Tumblr blog she’s celebrating her own form of Utopia, something about love and desire. Bravo Ko is one of the many recent voices trying to attribute this generation a true meaning – in every possible way.
Let’s find out which artistic treasures Asia’s going to unfold in the near future. Talents who just got their first camera, fooling around, becoming something great in the end. From China, from Indonesia, from Japan. From all those different places, with their diverse cultural and political structures. And let’s hope they’re all as powerful, fledgling and bold as Bravo Ko’s image worlds.
