Reporters Without Borders has obtained a copy of the verdict in the case of Jiang Lijun, sentenced to four years in prison for his online pro-democracy articles, showing that Yahoo! helped Chinese police to identify him. It is the third such case proving the implication of the American Internet company.

I decided to boycott Yahoo! and the fact, that Microsoft censored chinese blogs who used the words “freedom” and “democracy” and is responsible for the software, which helps the Chinese regime to censor the internet, only increases my aversion against this combine. I can’t afford to boycott Google, too, but I will avoid products and services from Microsoft and Yahoo! in future, and I hope, you will do the same.
